ABOUT USSHAVA was first started in 1969 by a group of ladies who wanted to make a difference and started by selling books out of the trunk of a car in a parking lot to raise money for the Sturgeon Hospital in St. Albert. Now 48 years later, we have raised over $3.40 million dollars for the hospital through our bookstore (now closed down), gift shop located in the hospital, recycling, casinos and other fundraising activities. We are over 250 members and are always looking to include more members.
